Precinct delegates are elected by the voters during the August Primary. They are responsible for distributing information about candidates to their neighbors. I would like to be your precinct delegate because I believe an informed public is the basis for an efficient democracy.
I can also help new voters get registered to vote, answer questions about candidates in our area, get out the vote on election day, and represent Lyon township at local Democratic meetings. In addition, I may call our representatives on behalf of the precinct and make our local issues known.
Precinct Delegates are elected in the August Primary. Only Democratic voters choose Democratic precinct delegates and Republican voters choose Republican precinct delegates. Each precinct is allotted a number of delegates for their party based on voter turnout. Lyon township precinct 5 has 2 allotments for democrats, and 3 for republicans. I am running as a write-in candidate for one of the democratic spaces, located on the back of the ballot.

My goal is to get Lyon Township Precinct 5 engaged and voting. I want to see our government working for the people again, and the best way to do this is for the public to elect candidates they believe in.
